Phaya Thonzu means three pagodas and on the pictures is clearly visible why. Located near the Minnanthu village and built in the 13th centure, this temple is one of the last built temples in Bagan and never fully completed, possibly due to arriving Mongols. From a distance, there is a slight resemblance of the Prang Sam Yot spires in Lopburi, Thailand.
